There’s no point in having the same ad showing up twice so it’s better to only show the ad only 1 time even if theres few ads

Consider using a light theme text as the background colors are dark.

That seems really unprofessional, throwing on a random image to the background and blurring a few elements is not really going to make it look good. I recommend finding a style you want to go for, then creating a color palette, and then basing the website on that. Personally, I think you should go for a minimal website that gets straight to the point yet keeps it clean & easy to use.

Not sure if I’m the only one who’s noticed this, but this free service thing was rushed out just like Roblox Status Live was, and that’s why it was a bit of a flop. (It was shutdown from the looks of it, and doesn’t work anymore)
Definitely take a bit more time on refining the website design as it’s harsh on mobile, and buttons don’t function sometimes (according to others). I wish you luck, just it’s probably best that this post is moved to creative feedback so people can tell you on how to improve the website. This resource isn’t ready for the public.

Yeah, it was basically made within a day. Probably would of been better for them spending a bit more time on it.
Think something happened with the other developer, I don’t know the entire story.

Is there not anything that stops people from putting someone’s name?

Maybe a system needs to be implemented that checks the email of the submission against another submission that has already submitted when someone’s using the same published name?
Why do they even require our email to post an advertisement? There are some large privacy concerns with this.

Currently, the emails are not stored on the webserver, and if they were, they would be bcrypted in an encrypted file to prevent a leak.
But why are they required? If you don’t store them or do anything whatsoever, I don’t understand why I need to input my email to post an advertisement.
I really like this idea and will work on it!

its going to be used for verification purposes to prevent spam
for example, currently, as we speak, there is someone trying to post profane posts, but since emails are not verified, they are only being stopped by the second stage filters.
AdMySite Update
Hello Developers,
We recently updated our AdMySite spam and explicit content filters! This consists of several tests and checks that occur at the time of advertisement submission. We also added a rate-limiting feature to prevent DoS attacks (which has happened several times already, thanks script kiddies!). You all should now rarely see explicit words, content, or spam on our website. We also added an impersonation prevention feature which checks username-email combinations to make sure no one is trying to be you. Note: This will only work if you have posted an ad to the website.
