Hello,
How can I make my parkour movement system better? I’m open to adding new abilities, getting rid of old ones, and more as long as it betters my game and makes it more fun.
I was inspired by Titanfall and Ultrakill but I want the game to be difficult and rewarding sort of like Parkour Legacy/Reborn.
As of right now, I have 5 main changes from default roblox movement.

The player keeps their momentum midair.

The player has to build up running momentum.

The player can wallrun indefinitely, which goes at the speed of the player and gives a small boost on exit.

The player can slide for a period of time based off the highest speed in the last 0.2 seconds. Similar to wallrun, it sets to the speed of the player.

The player’s jump boosts forwards and upwards based on speed.
Each of these abilities have a speed cap, of course. The issue with this is that this (I think) is too easy for the player to build up speed. I also want the movement to be smooth!!! Also, keep in mind that this game will be a third person hack and slash similar to DMC.
