Advertisement for a horror game

Hello, I want to know if I should advertise my horror game by sponsoring it or advertising it. The game contains jump scares, dark places, and a monster like a weeping angel. The monster will be related to Five Nights at Freddys. The game loop will be similar to Flee the Facility and Dead by Day Light. I’m not sure what the target market would be. If its children below 13, I would advertise using mobile sponsorships since I heard that sponsorships are best for children. Otherwise, I will use advertisements for PC users. Or the answer may be a mixture of both advertisements. My budget is 8k robux.

Don’t use any of those, use TikTok. Very dev friendly platform with no budget required, is super effective, and best of all is completely free to use love it or hate it. Every big horror game on Roblox right now got big off of it anyways. Just make sure to research how the algorithm works on there to get the best results possible. The algorithm is very good and if everything executed right, the chances of your promotional video blowing up is pretty promising.

You can advertise your game on Twitter with promotion tweets. just don’t spend too much

If his channel was popular he would have already done so. It’s not like uploading a video on a 5 follower channel would get your game popular…

For horror games Ads would be better than sponsorship because you can show more images

Popular or not, it’s quite easy to blow up on TikTok from scratch.

It’s not worth it, one of my friends dropped nearly 80K on Roblox ads and did nothing. Once he posted about the game on TikTok his game blew up. TikTok is better hands down for advertising this genre. Every big horror game on the platform got big off of TikTok.

True, I think tik tok implemented a system for dumb swippers to discover new videos by small creators. But personally suggest cooperating with a small content creator with a least a few hundred fans

I have a youtube channel with 750 subscribers, would that work?

Oh yes! That’s more than enough. You could start doing cooperations with the people on DevForum! They could give you a free fan code or some robux and you’ll feature their game in your vids… I personally find that extremely useful! It might get boring if you only make vids about a single game.
