So I’ve made a bare bones low poly fps map and I would like some feedback on what I could add inside of it, currently there are 2 team spawn areas, the black and white squares are placeholders for future buildings, the brown parts are platforms connecting the top of the buildings for players to walk on, but after I add the buildings and such, I’m stuck on what else I could add to make this map more unique rather than just a basic symmetrical fps map, any feedback would be very helpful!
First, I think you should have a team be represented as a color so there wouldn’t be any confusion between those two spawns; similar to Team Fortress 2 with the Red and Blue teams.
Second, you could add assets/buildings behind the map so it wouldn’t be plain (e.g. clouds) and small details and decorations, maybe even Easter eggs (Not literally Easter eggs though, the ones that are represented as secrets that players can find.) Easter eggs usually reference something from pop culture (e.g. Internet culture, movies, etc.) and could also be represented as text. If you do plan on adding these secrets in your map, please make sure it would be hard for players to find.
Third, I suggest the following themes for this map you could consider adding:
- Futuristic
- Nature
- Classic Roblox
- Hell
- Dessert
Hope this helps!
