Advice for Free UGC Game

For the past 2 weeks @PeridotPerfection and I have been working on CHILL for UGC. The game was recently release, and is doing pretty well!

We are looking for feedback on how to make the game more engaging & larger.

Me personally, I would add a skybox to the map. Skyboxes can make a world of difference. They look infinitely better than just the default settings. You should also mess with the lighting, as the lighting currently looks a bit dull. I would assume for a UGC game, you would have much brighter lights and a more lively ambience. As your game grows, work on making the map a lot more interesting as well. Right now, it is a bit too simplistic.

Some things that I liked, were your UI and the textures you used for the build. I think your game has great potential, as your UGC is pretty good, and much better than a lot of generic UGC games I see on the platform.

Good luck on the game!

Hey bitsplicer, I reviewed your game, “CHILL for UGC,” on my stream after finding it on my Games Radar list. Here’s a compact summary of my feedback.

First off, the game looks great, and the atmosphere is very immersive. The interactive elements like the Tic-Tac-Toe and piano are fantastic ideas! The main area for improvement is player guidance; I found it hard to understand what the objective was. A few hints or a clearer goal would make the experience much more engaging.

My Scores: Gameplay: 4/10, Visuals: 5/10, Originality: 6/10, Polish: 6/10.

You’ve got a world with great potential! You can watch my full review here.

I recommend playing a game called “Get Paid to Vibe” on Roblox, and look at what they do. They keep players heavily immersed with actual fun games to play like bowling, pool, etc.
