Advice: Improving Revenue & Engagement

I’ve tried many things to attempt to bring up player retention and engagement within my game, however, they just don’t seem to be cutting it?

I’ve put some dropdowns on a few things I have implemented to try to improve retention and engagement within my game.

Reward System

To improve revenue, I have;

  • Created a 99R$ starter pack
  • Created an in-game shop UI filled with different products and passes
  • Added premium benefits (1.5x Gems + Tag)

Adding on, my main source of revenue is premium payouts where I’m only earning around 300-700R$ a week, product and pass sales are very low only earning around 500R$ in total overall from sales.

However, over the past week these tactics haven’t really improved the games overall engagement and revenue. Any advice on what I would to do increase flow within these fields would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is your game just isn’t fun–otherwise you’d be keeping players. That or you’re not attracting the players who will enjoy your game.
You can’t just throw in a “Here’s a prize for continuing to play” and expect it to solve everything.
Personally I’m also not inclined to play a game that is constantly trying to monetize me or appeal to children.
