Advice on advertising

Hello. I need advice on how to advertise a game properly. I’m thinking about putting in 100k on ads but I’m still unsure on how to utilize my investment properly.

THE GAME

So the game is yet another one of those tower of hell games called “Tower of Confusion” but it’s utilizing EgoMoose’s “Gravity Switcher” script. This script could be used in a majority of ways such ass:

-Going upside down to skip/jump over smaller lava bricks
-To sometimes even confuse the player on where they’re going (hence the name “Tower of Confusion”)
-To create unique stages that will require the gravity switching feature for players to pass them

The game will be playable on PC, mobile and console for a greater variety of players joining in. The game isn’t finished yet, so I sadly cannot link it for any of you guys to test it out.

ADVERTISING

For advertising I was thinking about spending 2.5k robux on a horizontal ad for 40 days straight. I thought about using the sponsor feature, but many people say that it just isn’t worth it. Alternatively, I could spend 10k robux for 10 days or 5k for 20 days but this depends. Should I sacrifice the ad runtime for impressions or vice versa? This is where you guys come in to hopefully give me some advice on how I should do this.

Any replies are appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Honestly, I’ve given up on using Roblox Advertisements , simply due to Ad-Blockers. They’re built in to modern browsers, and they work on Roblox. They still do work for some groups if the ad is interesting.

With your budget, it seems like you probably will have a high quality ad, but honestly it’s your go, because vertical only appears in certain places so does horizontal, but vertical is seen more (Home screen, groups, games, develop tab, etc.)

The sponsor feature isn’t really good in my opinion, it feels like your game is like forced to be in a category it isn’t , hence that advertisement method simply is not the best. It’s like searching up a tutorial on how to do something, clicking a video and they do what you need to do with 0 explanation or the video is just off topic.

The more impressions you get, the more likely you’ll get clicks, but it all depends on how long you wanna run your ad for. Because if you run it for 40 days straight that’s a months and about a quarter that the same ad will be there, and if it’s constantly coming up and it’s the same plain ad it won’t get clicks, because you’re milking one ad, so if you go with 40 days try to have multiple ads ready, so your impressions could go to different people and they could see more about whatever you’re trying to advertise.

Personally if I was advertising, I would go with Vertical, because it allows you to fit more in the advertisement, and you can get much more impressions/clicks out of it, and it’s much easier for a cleaner design to come out of a vertical ad. It’s honestly your choice on how much you wanna spend on this advertisement and how long you want to put it up, just do your own research , look at the website and just look at ads, may not be interesting but just look on how they try to bring a message to you, and how likely it is to get some ads or the same ads multiple times.

Hopefully this made sense to you!

Have a great day and happy holidays! :santa:
