I’m not the type of person that usually model crazy dark lord Blade of Olympus like sword but I want to make it look a bit more detailed
So I got this Khopesh I just made and I want to make it look special and make it not just look like a bland sickle
for most people (for me it’s cool), it wouldn’t look that interesting seeing a sword without an ornate and just a bland clean blade without those intricate ornate you mostly found on fantasy weapon
so I how can I ornate this sword and ways to decorate it?
Well for one I feel like the blade itself could look sharper, from that perspective it looks smooth. A way to ornate the sword would be to add more complex design on the blade itself, for example check this out:
Notice how the blade has a sharp point and a dip in the middle of the blade, maybe you could try and replicate that. Another detail you could add is the wrappings to the handle, it would add an extra set of depth to the sword as a whole.
No problem, you could also add that sharp edge shown in your picture as well as that little arrow design right above the handle. Looks good nonetheless.
