Burn out is something you have to deal with yourself, if you have no desire to create, then don’t. There’s no need to push yourself. If you feel like you want to do something bigger or more grand, try and challenge yourself.

I personally have never experienced burn out, until I force myself to do work that I just don’t want to do. However, when completing that job, I feel a sense of completion.

I would say that in obbys the most importing thing is the name, for exemple escape the sherk, something around thoose lines because its what kids lime, só basicly the name its what will atract the most players, of course you still need to have a good obby, and the goal its to have premium menbers, so you can receive premium payouts

If you get burnt out building things quicker than scripting things, I would reccomend scripting some sort of random obby, or using your scripting skills to build the uniquety of the game (For example, like custom skills and movement options, or a whole new system). Vice-versa, if you prefer building, use your building skills to build the uniquety of the game (For example, like creating interesting levels that take advantage of advanced building skills and leverage the current movement set that players have to create unique challenges.)

In general, I would reccomend you try out both sides, figure out which one you prefer, and use the one you prefer to build the uniquety of the game.
It doesn’t even have to be just building or scripting (these are just ones that are easy to give examples of), you could build the uniquety of your game off of UI, texturing, modeling, animating, etc. (Although those will require more thought going into them.)

Try not to make it one of those “200 pop ups in your face” obbys, make the in game purchases balanced, but make the users really feel like they want whatever’s on sale.

Just take maybe a 10 minute break as soon as you begin to feel the burn out. Maybe watch some youtube videos of people playing obbies to encourage yourself! i cant think of anything else.
