Hey developers!
I have a game called “Minute Mayhem” that I update weekly. However, the game isn’t doing all too well and it usually sits at 0 concurrent players. I’ve poured hundreds of thousands of Robux into sponsorships, but it usually crashes back to really low numbers 20-30 minutes right after it skyrockets from the sponsorships. How would I go about making my game better? Thank you for your time!
How long do you run sponsors for?
The game has no tutorial. Your demographic is little kids, therefore they don’t read the description.
There’s a few parts in the game that aren’t even that well scripted such as the ‘Nextbot’ spawn-killing you.
The game needs more work. To say the least.
Quoting @goldenguy9 who points this out:
As he said: ‘Dead players can’t spectate or anything, and are left bored in the lobby.’
This applies to new players as well. New players should be able to spectate the matches’ players.
one quick note is that minigame events like backrooms and red light green light dont tp new players, so they’re just left waiting for a minute. Similarly dead players can’t spectate or anything, and are left bored in the lobby.
I used to run it for for 3 days during Friday and the weekend. But recently I’ve been running it for 10 or more days.
I’ll definitely work on a spectate feature, thank you!
I’ll definitely work on the AI system on the Nextbot so it doesn’t target players who spawn and have a forcefield. As for the tutorial, there should’ve been a tutorial GUI when first loading into the game if you’re a new player.
I didn’t get one.
Also, you can just @ and quote everyone in one post instead of clogging the page. Heads up.
Right. I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!
