Persona, our third-party vendor, will get some fields wrong some times. Sorry about that. We’ve worked with them to address specifically issues with Issue date. Since this was filed in Aug, a few fixed have been put in place to address Issue date. Users are encouraged to contact customer service to remedy if this happens. CS has the ability invalidate the ID verification status, so that the user could try again.

I understand, however, the main reason I reported this issue in the first place was because the customer service was and is effectively useless. All attempts to report and resolve this issue to customer service have resulted in the same copy-pasted responses, essentially telling me they won’t take any steps to resolve the issue. No matter how I word it to them, it doesn’t seem to change the response.
Yes, I believe it’s because of COPPA and its regulations. I understand Roblox being compliant with COPPA, but when it comes to this issue, I suspect it’s the primary reason customer service won’t actually look into any of my reports. They see it as a report from an under-13 account regarding trying to change the age of the account and hit it with a generic response.
