Air Dash Longer Than Ground Dash For Alot

Hi, im trying to make a game look like soulshatters but i have a little problem about dash system

these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I want to make a dash system without bodyposition, because bodyposition will keep you stay on the air while dashing

  2. What is the issue?
    Im trying to make dash system by using AssemblyLinearVelocity But Air Dash Is Longer Than Ground Dash ALOT (i didnt record the video sorry)

  3. What solutions have you tried so far?
    I was looking for another ways to make dash system like soulshatters but it wouldnt work

They’s game air dash still longer for abit but its okay

Please remember that i dont want to use bodyposition

Sorry this might not be too much help but you could just change the walkspeed and use a double jump script (my friend made a double jump script if you want one)

this is because on the ground roblox adds friction, cus ground, but in the air, there is no friction, so more force, equal longer distance/time or whatever
