Most times when I move the carrier, the planes don’t move along with the ship and end up falling off at the back. Is there any way to fix this? Is it something to do with network ownership?

You could try adding an instance weld constraint from one of your planes’ parts to weld to the ship base, once you want to operate the planes again to fly, just destroy the weld constraint vice versa

That only works with anchored objects & CFrame only. The ships I have use bodymovers.
I don’t know much about your use case but maybe this could be helpful?
