Akori - Promotion Policy

:herb: Promotion Policy
Here at Akori, we believe in recognising those who demonstrate dedication, hard work, and leadership. That is why we have created this policy, which outlines the process that regulates promotions at Akori. Career progression is important to many of us here, and we want to reinforce this commitment by ensuring a fair and transparent promotion system.

Low Rank
Awaiting Training → Head Barista

Your career at Akori has begun, and there is so much ahead! To progress through the ranks, you must first attempt and pass our quiz before gaining the rank of Awaiting Training. From there, you must attend training sessions up until the rank of Head Barista. These sessions are designed to introduce new members of the community to our operations and ensure that our values are deeply ingrained in Akori’s culture.

Middle Rank
Supervisor → General Manager

Our management team at Akori is essential to us—they lead our team, inspire the future, and drive change! To move into middle management, you must first achieve the rank of Head Barista. From there, our senior management team will actively look for individuals in this role who are consistently active, dedicated to our values, and, most importantly, willing to take on greater responsibility. Those who pass the recommendation stage of this process will be contacted directly with further details.

From this point, progressing through the ranks requires demonstrating competence through a positive attitude, hard work, and dedication to Akori.

High Rank
Executive Assitant → Executive Board

From this point onwards, the promotion system is applied contextually. If you wish to be promoted to our head office—particularly from the ranks of Executive Assistant to Executive Board—you must remain consistently active, demonstrate a positive work ethic, and contribute to the betterment of the community as a whole. Excellence must be shown through conduct, administrative work, and overall dedication to Akori.
