This issue affects the following items: Valkyrie Helm, Violet Valkyrie, Redvalk, Blackvalk, Ice Valkyrie, Emerald Valkyrie. Expected Behavior:
Items should have a complete mesh without any holes or missing faces. Actual Behavior:
Items have a missing face in the right interior of the helm.
(unrelated but the Valkyrie Helms also have a very messed up texture. While most of it can be chalked up as adding to the design, some issues, like the texture bleeding on the helm embeddings, are clearly unintentional.)
It’s a clear technical flaw that isn’t the focus of how the asset looks; it doesn’t even show except from some angles behind it. People have bought it despite the missing face in the mesh, rather than purchasing because it has an asymmetrical mesh error.
I totally get not prioritizing issues that aren’t major technical flaws, but the Valkyrie series’ inconsistencies are actually fairly noticeable from several common angles and causes an item which was clearly intended to consist of two perfectly mirrored objects intersecting to create a funky feather helmet, to… not be that.
As an owner of Redvalk myself, I definitely don’t prefer it to be this way, nor do I know any sane person who does.
It’s also worth noting that the Valkyrie series is considered one of the most legendary and iconic series of items in the history the Roblox platform, with Redvalk in particular being by far one of the most desirable and rarest of all toycode items ever produced; second only to the Deadly Dark Dominus. As such anything less than perfection, or at the very least, consistency, isn’t acceptable, regardless of if people “prefer” it that way for whatever reason.
