We have 10-15 drafts that were being worked on in a project that were suddenly randomly deleted. Multiple weeks worth of work is gone just like that.

Sorry to hear about this… there might be some hope still that the files stayed on disk, it’s worth checking the Draft locations:
Windows: %localappdata%\Roblox\Sandbox\<PlaceId>\*
Mac: ~/Documents/Roblox/Sandbox/<PlaceId>/*
Unfortunately if the Drafts are deleted on your computer, they are not recoverable – unless they are in the Thrash, or you have a backup service or cloud drive running with backup functionality.
Possible causes might include: anything that might access the filers in your drafts folder like Google drive or Apple iCloud; Any plugins that would manipulate files or drafts, like Argon or Rojo; Any Beta features, like File sync.
