All parts delete from game upon playtest

Not exactly if this is the right category but…
For some unknown reason, all parts in my game are deleted

The weirder part is this is ONLY for the local player
Server side, everything is fine

All parts are anchored, they just seemingly get deleted for no reason
Any models created also seem to stay in the game
Don’t know if this is a studio bug, or just something on my end, but any help is appreciated :slight_smile:

mmmmm how can you tell that everything is fine server side

do you have any scrips affecting the client parts?
(if so, go ask the scripters)

if the models stay then can you just make everything into a model? (if you cant find a solution to this problem)

Is the Archivable property enabled on Workspace?

did you insert any free model from the toolbox? if so, which one/s?

you might have inserted a client side free model script that messes up with the workspace, so you should check that out

Through emulation, once you go into the server sided mode on the playtest, everything is fine
I have a few scripts in game, but I coded them and even after I disable them, same results happen

No free models are used in this game

have you tried running it on an emulated server or a normal roblox server?

if you publish the game and join from the roblox website, does this problem still happen?

yes, but once disabled it deletes everything including models and folders

i have figured out the issue, for some reason the game spawned my character at some crazy high distance, but everything seemed fine because i was using a custom camera system
this resulted in all parts being despawned to save resources, which is why they were fine on the server side
