I would like to request that we get the ability to disable comments on game passes, just like any other item allows us to disable them. I can understand how game pass comments might be enforced to reduce scamming and such, but I wonder how relevant this concern really is. There are other ways in which you could scam a player that don’t involve any comments page either, such as with developer products.
My primary reason for this is that people are botting the game pass comments now, so I want to disable them to prevent people from falling for those comments.
This is the perfect solution, no question.
Disabling comments entirely means scam passes can’t really be identified other than a low like ratio (and some of my passes are like 50/50 and they aren’t scams)
Why could you disable comments in badges, t-shirts, shirts, etc. But not gamepasses? Doesn’t make sense.
Also, the button for disabling/enabling comments in the game settings is still there. It serves no purpose.
I would gladly love to disable gamepass comments, or like @ScriptOn said, make comments on gamepasses paid-comment.
The amount of scam, spam, disgusting and otherwise inappropriate comments on game passes is already awful and it’s a tease to present me the “Allow Comments” option but have it greyed out.
People are using game pass comments as a workaround to a group wall, messaging or alternate forms of communication when other means are all severed.
Comments on game passes aren’t productive. Give them the treatment that hats on the Catalog got - allow us to toggle comments, or remove the section entirely.
