Multi-owner group glitch no longer works. Existing groups with multiple owners still have them, but you can’t add multiple owners anymore. It’s not in a spot to be abused since hardly anyone has multiple owner groups. And ROBLOX can still distinguish the real owner from others – only the “real” owner can change the description / icon / etc. There wouldn’t be any problem only giving the permission to the true owner.
It does exist very much so, I made that group yesterday. And you are wrong again by saying only the real owner can change the desc and icon, all owner ranks can. Please know fully what you’re talking about before you challenge the facts.
It must be different from deleting every rank except the owner rank and then having people join the group then. Now ROBLOX prevents you from deleting the second-to-last rank (no x button):
And are you positive that you can change the icon / description? In the bug I mentioned you can type into the description box and it will let you upload an icon, but neither of the changes will actually go through. Have one of owners that wasn’t the original in that group actually changed the description / icon?
Still, as long as you can’t transfer group ownership, you’re not a real REAL owner.
The owner rank is just a rank, it’s not the way group ownership is determined.

As far as tested, no-one can successfully at this point (not even the main owner).
You’re not the owner anymore, so I assume you succeeded?
They couldn’t, you could, so ownership ~= having the owner rank.
Who was the first owner?
I was the first owner, I left the group and rejoined to pass on ownership.

See if jjwood can transfer ownership back to you.
As the API proves, having the ownerrank doesn’t make you an actual owner.
It’s just a rank, a label combined with some permissions.
We’re getting a bit off-topic though.
This thread is meant to allow group owners to sell group items.
(Basicly act as if the group owner is BC concerning group items)
To add on to what einsteinK said, even if ROBLOX is unable to distinguish between group owners in groups like that, passing up on a feature because of an exploit is dumb. Fix the exploit – implement the feature (assuming it’d be implemented if there were no exploit).
