It creates meaningful discourse impossible. A number of important bug reports I’ve gotten have both been important to fix and impossible to ask for more details because of this:
It feels like the person sending the message is pissing on you by sending a message to you and refusing to allow you to send a message back.
I would prefer this if the reply is done within a certain reply time. I wouldn’t want to be spammed from one user replying to something in his archive from over a year ago.
I wouldn’t mind sending a copy-paste multi paragraph response to people who say “Join my awesome group for free robux” or “SEND ME TRADES”
I just wish it would say something like “This user cannot reply to your message” based on your setting and whether they are a friend/follower or whatever. I get the feeling that some people don’t realize they have messaging turned off.
