This isn’t really studio feature related, but since the animation editor is made by Roblox I’ll put this in the Studio requests for now.
When I’m animating a tool, I would like to move around the surroundings of the environment while in the animation editor. This is useful when you have something where you are given a tool in a certain place and you want to animate it according to the surroundings.
What I was trying to do is make a bench press. The problem is that I need to move the supports for where the weights rest so it can align in the idle position and match up evenly to the placeholder weight that is there while nobody is lifting. When I would go to move these supports, the animation editor would automatically disable itself and all my unsaved changes would be lost.
A solution to this would to be to allow the animation edit to always stay open no matter what other plugin is active; or if that is not possible because of a complication it would not lose the editor state when being disabled (as in, you wouldn’t have to go back and load your autosave when opening it back up).
