I have a game called “Egg Simulator” but I think that using the word “Simulator” in your name is terrible and common. Its called that because I couldn’t think of a better name. Please help me come up with a better name for it.

Maybe Egg Collecting Simulator? It gives a bit more meaning to what the game is actually about.

I would suggest re-reconsidering the use of “Simulator” in the game title. I believe that simulator style games are popular right now because the game mechanics are fun, simple, and directly understandable players from their past experience with these games. Including “Simulator” in the name notifies players that the game is familiar to them. It could be a smart move to telegraph this.

What about a play on words? Words like “Eggciting” or “Eggstatic” and other words with the prefix “ex” replaced with “egg” could be cool!

The thing is that nowadays most of the “Simulators” aren’t very nice simulations. There’s only a few good / unique ones like Vehicle Simulator, the rest are just the same action on repeat.

I’d recommend a catchy name using some techniques like alliteration or rhyming, maybe something like:
“Egg expedition”
“Eggcoon”
“Egg explorer”
You can come up with many more, I’d recommend using a thesaurus to find cool and catchy words to fit in with the name.

Having Simulator in the name would probably help to get some more visits into your game as it’s a key word. Only way this might pay off is if you have a big budget to advertise your game, so you’ll have a decent fanbase regardless.
Oh, and the game also has to be fun!

I mean, most simulators get popular for a week or two then they die out to something like 100 players. Also, it’s the Easter period so the game will run with the Easter theme!

Egg world seems suitable but it depends on your game.
Egg puns are the best when it comes to egg simulators in my opinion. I can already think of some egg-puns:
* egg-cesive
* egg-cellent
* egg-topia
* egg-commodation
* egg-citing
* egg-cile (excile)
* egg-er (eager, this one may not fit)
Egg-Mania could work, but I recommend a pun with the phrase “ex” in it.
Some names I have thought of:
Egg-topia - Egg-collecting Simulation
Egg-commodation - Egg-collecting Simulation
