Am I allowed to do this?

I am making a game and I suppose I made a topic similar but this time its a bit different. First of all:

  • Exposed Brains
  • Exposed Bones
  • Blood
  • Blood Puddles
  • Severed Heads/Arms/Legs
  • Blood Spewing out of joints
  • Ability to throw dead bodies

I don’t think all that gore is necessary, to be honest, but I’d imagine it’s allowed to a degree considering there are other games that feature gore. I’d just say to not overdo it and be okay with probably getting a somewhat high age rating on the game, and you’ll probably be okay.

So ill be ok with almost that much gore? maybe ill remove exposed brains and bones because you see i am making a zombie game and zombies got gore.

Definitely Allowed:

  • Blood
  • Blood Puddles

Might be allowed:

  • Exposed Bones
  • Severed Heads/Arms/Legs
  • Blood Spewing out of joints

Risky to add:

  • Ability to throw dead bodies
  • Exposed Brains (or any organs for that matter)

I need to add the ability to throw dead bodies its mostly my goal.

In @iGottic’s game “Caliber” there was a setting to turn on gore and it was quite realistic. Not sure if that feature was kept but if it was then I’m sure they can definitely help you! For reference the game did have:

  • Exposed Brains (or any organs for that matter)
  • Severed Heads/Arms/Legs
  • Blood
  • Blood Puddles

Honestly, it probably depends how you do it. If they’re just ragdolls, I’m sure it’ll be fine, but if you’re making it overly gory, you might run the risk of moderation.

no its just ragdolls. only ragdolls you throw at other zombies.

I suppose they removed the game due to gore?

Hey @Qinrir,

Roblox now has a age-rating, quiz that can be found in the experiences create portal, please just make sure you fill that out so the game can be properly age restricted. That should tell you what is generally allowed and not.

Pretty sure its all allowed, but you’re supposed to have a togglable option for it.

(I might be completely wrong)

Creator of Caliber here; nope, the game is going strong! Some Roblox staff & interns, content creators, and developers have all taken a look at the game and given it a thumbs-up. In other words, it’s implied to be approved given the number of eyes on it.

Roblox doesn’t have any rules that explicitly ban blood/gore.
