recently I saw a group which had some popular tycoons, like “Ninja Tycoon” or smth.
Then I checked the creator and he made another group with the exact same games in it (same icon, etc.) and got players on them as well.
Now my question: Is that allowed?
Yeah that’s allowed. It’s a bit of a questionable decision though.
Is it really that questionable? If you have a game that’s getting players, because it’s well made and manages to get players via the algorithm, then why not have it run twice? 
But I don’t really think roblox would be happy about that. So even though it’s not said explicitly in the TOS, they might still take action and delete the games or even ban the user.
I mean yeah but what’s the point of making the 2 exact same games? It doesn’t mean that more people will recognize it. Plus, what happens to the progress? Does it get carried over to the other games a.k.a. the copies?
I have to edit this post saying: What on Earth about the badges???
In conclusion, don’t overcomplicate things. Keep it simple and just stick to one game. It’s pointless making another and it makes your group/profile look sketchy.

It’s not pointless. Like @santokioS said if you have 1 game which runs very good, and you just copy it, you will get at least a few players on the copy as well. So you will make more revenue. Im not planning on doing this, I’m just curious. But it’s really smart from those devs to make the same game twice 
I already explained the concerns of doing this. I think it’s just completely unnecessary to do this. Whether you’re planning on doing it or not, I would stay away from it.
Those devs dont care about the players progress or badges. They just care about the money. So for them, its worth it.
What do you mean by ‘those devs’? Also, be careful about how you talk on the forum. I agree with your statement, however, it could have a serious impact on your account if mods see it, such as not being able to DevEx.
No, roblox can’t punish me for asking a question. With those devs, I mean devs who copy their game multiple times in different groups.

Could just have games advertised the same way on your profile that teleport to one central game.
