Am I allowed to use the word Blox

Not sure what topic to use…sorry
I recently heard that roblox will not allow you to use the word “Blox” in your game title but does this also apply to in game stores? I have a store named BloxCo Corporate and I want to know if I’m allowed too. Thanks

Hi, you are not allowed to use “Ro” or “Blox” off-platform.

Neither “Ro” or “Blox” are registered trademarks so you are allowed to use them off platform. You just can’t use the trademark “Roblox” unless it falls under fair use.

Maybe not on Roblox but Roblox has no legal authority to stop you from using “Ro” or “Blox” off-platform. They do not own trademarks to either of those, and even if they did, most cases would fall under fair use.

You can use it depends if the thing is not about Roblox, I think.

Nope, you can use them whenever. There are no trademarks for “Ro” and “Blox” anywhere. There is a trademark for “Roblox,” however, so you can only use it under fair use (e.g., news articles, videos, books, etc.).

You can use them in your store. You just cannot use them on the Roblox platform.
