Am I doing Low-poly correct?

Hello! I am trying to do a Low-poly pillar style but I am not sure if I am doing it correct? If I am, tell me how I could improve in the Low-poly style! Thanks.

In my opinion, there’s not really a correct way to do low-poly. It just means the mesh has a small amount of polygons.

Your build looks good, and I would say it fits in with the low poly style.

Low Poly doesn’t mean low detail. It simply means a low amount of polygons within a build. Because of this however, low poly builds often appear to have a lack of detail, therefore a lot of people think low poly means low detail.

Nevertheless, I love the pillar!

Did you make this in blender? If so there is shading issues with the top part of the pillar thing and the bottom. You can spot this more by using matcap or adding loopcuts to the end of the model to sharpen it and remove the shading issue. But this is only needed if you want to make your model perfect but it doesnt look that bad on this model but when your doing more high poly stuff it would stand out. There is a chance that it might be the way roblox studio reflects light but i doubt that.

No, I did not make this in Blender, but I know a lot of people use Blender to do Low-Poly so I will give it a try some time.
