Am I ready to sell GFX?

So I’ve been doing GFX kinda on/off for approx. 2yrs now.
Am I ready to start doing commissions?
Here are some of my most recent works:
untitled (4)

If I am ready, can you suggest a general idea on how to price these?

Thank you

Absolutely stunning. Everything is well detailed.
Before you start to sell, I would recommend working on your lighting a bit more.
Take similar references to your GFX and compare the lighting, should help you tons.

Looks fine but have fun trying to get clients
I tried this many years ago and If you don’t get things done EXACTLY the way people describe it to you (In the least descriptive way possible, mind you) They usually won’t pay you.

So, would it be a good idea to demand down payments?

In the start, no. You should do the GFX and then ask for payment. Once you have gotten a couple of clients then ask for like half the payment before the gfx and once you actually have a reputation and are well known in the community you can raise the price and ask for complete payment before seding the GFX.

I think Asz is right. Build a portfolio first and then charge upfront when people know you can deliver on your end.

Man your GFX’s are absolutely stunning. The thing about the GFX game is it’s not really about the quality it’s about marketing and reputation. You need to find a fanbase to sell to.

I used to do this GFX stuff so i know a lil bit

So, how would I go about building a fanbase?

i could have some work for you message me on discord up14546

Start posting and networking with people on twitter. Join discord servers and offer your services. Make a portfolio of all your stuff.

This GFX looks VERY GOOD AND REALISTIC! It’s ready to be sold! Great job on it!

This & once you’re finished with the GFX, add a watermark that covers the image & send it to the client to show proof that it’s finished. Once they send you the payment, send them the work without the watermark.

Any other ways to build a fanbase? I’d prefer not to use Discord and Twitter.

THESE ARE AMAZING!!! If you removed the characters id have thought they were real!!!
