I made a Russian Roulette game, gave it the name “RPS Roulette” and released it.
A few days later the game was moderated and deleted, probably because of “Roulette” in the game’s name
I appealed 3 times until it finally got accepted but I had to make some changes to the game including changing the game’s name to make sure it doesn’t get moderated again.
After changing the name the game died immediately, it’s now getting 0-2 (mostly 0) new visits every day for the past 2 weeks which used to be a 30-50 with the old name.
I considered changing the game’s name back to “RPS Roulette” but I have to make sure there’s no risk on the game or my account if I do so
The game didn’t have an age rating when it got moderated but now it has a 13+ rating, is it now safe to change the game’s name back to RPS Roulette?
Wait, so what you are saying was that it was titled ups roulette, and it was rated for all ages, but then you got moderated, and now you want to know if you can remake it if it is 13+?
Unplayable gambling content is 17+ isn’t it? I think that’s what you are implying from this game.
To be fair, I have seen a ‘Casino’ game with Unplayable Gambling that is 13+.
My advice is don’t mess too much with this, if you get a mod on a bad day they could just kill your account right there.
So really, be careful. It’s up to you though. Once you’re past moderation, whenever that happens, they won’t check your game again until you update it.
The game didn’t have an age rating before it got moderated, all my appeals were getting declined until I added a 13+ unplayable gambling content rating.
That’s why I thought the age rating was what got the game moderated
