Guidebook: Revision Notes
Changes and pending updates to the guidebook are posted as below. Looking for the older guidebook? Click here. (Older guidebook is severely outdated, check at your own discretion.)
Welcome to Animaku!
Formerly known as the Anime and Manga Club (AaMC) by many older users, AaMC was founded in 2012 to serve as a central hotspot for anime and manga enthusiasts, while actively hosting daily events and activities for its members. After branching off into its own website and Discord server, the Roblox group was eventually all but forgotten until now.
Now re-branded to Animaku in 2023, Animaku hopes to continue the older tradition of maintaining a proper community while enforcing activity and events. With community-closed games / experiences, and group exclusive content to come, Animaku strives to create one of the best anime / manga fan communities on the platform. Although the name has changed, the goal has not. We hope you enjoy your time in the newly re-branded Animaku!
Animaku is affiliated with Syndacore, an anime-based game development studio. Formerly known as Team Syndacore- the developers behind Anime Battle Simulator and many more future title projects- you can join Syndacore’s official Roblox group!
Haven’t joined Animaku yet, but feeling interested? Join here!

New to Animaku? Here's a quick introduction.
What is Animaku?
Animaku is a community-driven anime / manga enthusiast hotspot that started on Roblox in 2012. Here, we wish to deliver the latest in anime / manga news while hosting frequent events for our members. Reformed from our old alias, Anime and Manga Club, we hope to bring exciting and exclusive content for both our older and newer members in the near future. By participating in events, you can earn promotions to climb the ranks, as well as have the chance to win cool stuff. Animaku currently houses 220k+ members in the Roblox group!
What does the future of Animaku look like?
Our current pipeline for expanding Animaku continues to grow with our member count. Here’s a few things you can expect to see in the future as the community continues growing:
- More frequent events + giveaways
- UGC content in the Roblox group store
- Animaku-exclusive games on Roblox
- Official Animaku website
Where to find Animaku?
Currently, we are only located on Roblox. As we expand to different social medias and eventually our own website, this list will be updated.
Rules / Guidelines
Why rules?
In order to keep Animaku a clean and friendly environment for its members, we ask everyone (including staff) to follow our set of rules and guidelines. Most of these rules are common sense, and we ask that you also follow Roblox’s Code of Conduct and Terms of Services while participating in Animaku.
What is the moderation procedure like?
Failure to follow the rules will result in one of these actions being taken (depending on the rule being broken):
- Warning - A warning will be issued to the rulebreaker; up to two warnings may be given
- Warning & Kick - A warning will be issued alongside a kick; any rank that was lost due to the kick will not be restored.
- Permanent Ban - A permanent ban from any Animaku service will be issued, including access to the Roblox group.
Please remember that the rules in our official guidebook differ to other Animaku services as well. Based on the severity of the violated rule, different punishments may be given by the staff member(s) (EX: Spamming suspicious links on the group wall will lead to an automatic permanent ban) .
General Guidelines:
- Always be respectful - Respect others, as well as yourself. Do not harass or discriminate against others.
- No spam allowed - Filling up the wall with useless spam messages is more annoying if anything. Copying / pasting messages will not yield you free robux, sorry.
- Spoilers are not allowed - Spoilers are the bane of every weeb’s existence. We ask that you refrain from posting spoilers. If you wish to discuss an anime freely with another member, please do it in a closed conversation.
- Do not beg for promotions or ranks - Ranks are given based on your activity, it would be unfair to jump ranks when others have to earn theirs.
- Debates are fine, as long as they are kept friendly - Opinions differ between people, debates are only natural. We just ask you keep them clean and friendly.
- Do not phish, dox, scam, etc. - We do not tolerate any form of doxx’ing, phishing, scamming, or any sorts of activity that may endanger our members.
- Loopholes are not allowed - We have rules for a reason, attempting to loophole around them will lead to public execution (/joking) and a ban.
- Advertising is prohibited - Advertising in any way is not allowed within Animaku. Self-advertisements and promoting other groups / products / etc. fall under this rule. Our chat wall is for members to communicate with each other, not for advertising.
Staff Gudelines:
- Do not abuse your powers - You have special permissions to help improve the community, not abuse it.
- Do not shout spam, or shout over others - Use the group shout sparingly. You may post frequent QoTD’s and such. Do not shout over others who have just used it.
- Inactivity will result in a demotion - Those who are considered inactive for a long period of time will have their staff position revoked. Please try to host an event once in a while.
- Always try to rank up others - Hosting an event is a good way to determine another’s activity. If you see someone attending events often, feel free to rank them up.
- Always hold up your end in a giveaway / contest - Failure to deliver prizes / awards from such will lead to an instant revoke of your staff permissions.
- Do not give away ranks to friends / family / etc. - As stated before, all members must earn their rank fairly. Do not let others jump ranks for free.
Ranking System
How does our ranking system work?
