Animate: How do I make this more dynamic?

Let’s be real

It sucks

Deada##,
That is why I want your advice on my first Blender project, first choreography referencing

I added noise which is probably a bad practice and have a lot of unnecessary keyframes
What else to build or destroy?

It’s an r5 rig, there’s a limit on how dynamic you can get. the character is literally missing knees and elbows, so for that, I say good job. :+1:

The head is just looking around, give it more purpose. (you only got 5 parts. Do the most with all of them!!)
Like have it mainly looking forward save for a dramatic head turn here and there

Make every movement on beat, it kinda slides between every movement (if that’s what you want then its fine)

Im not sure what the feet/legs are doing (that’s just me and r5 animations) To give them more purpose, exaggerate their movements. (r5 might not have knees but it has the power to disconnect its limbs from its main body!)

Focus on one dance move. Dances are made up of a combination moves and if you can get the individual moves feeling right, then they should make the whole dance feel better.

Try dancing yourself! (this is just for fun, but who knows, it could help~)
