I’m having issues with the new “Animate your face feature” using a webcam, since a few months now.
I’ve tried to enable the new feature using the “Animate Your Avatar Help FAQ” article but, while my Account is verified as 17+ and I see a switch to enable Voice Chat, there is none to enable the Webcam access under the Privacy Tab in Account settings.
In-game, when I’m wearing a compatible face and in a game with this feature enabled, I can see at the top left, next to the chat and VC icon, a face icon to enable a small preview for my face but there is no camera symbol in the menu or above my head (like the VC icon in a chat bubble).
I’ve tried this via different devices such as an android phone, with webcam access enabled and on my Windows PC, while it’s working for my friends via their account, the switch isn’t available for me. Adding to that, I’ve tried switching between the Roblox APP and the website.
According to the FAQ article and discussions with other Devs, I should be able to opt-in but I’m not sure if this feature is in A/B-Testing as I haven’t found any information about that.
Additionally I’m able to provide screenshots from in-game and my Privacy Tab section.

I have the feature available when I’m using the “Game Test” feature (under the “Test” tab) in Roblox Studio via Player1, Player2… but on my account it’s still unavailable, for example in public games via Account Settings → Privacy (it’s not showing up for me). Additionally I’ve tried to re-enroll myself in the Studio Beta Program to see if it would change something but that also didn’t help.
