Animation Editor refusing to work with 2 identical parts

I am attempting to animate an animation controller rig with the roblox animation editor. I have 2 identical parts, literally 0 difference between them, same mesh id, same properties, unanchored image

When moving one of the doors, the animation works fine. When I move the 2nd identical door it just breaks and moves the entire rig instead of the door

What am I supposed to do to fix this. There is no reason for 2 identical assets to behave differently

Making the Humanoid Root Part unreasonably massive seems to make all the parts move properly?
