I have been trying to import a custom rig alongside its NLA animation tracks.
Everything imports fine enough aside from how each animation faces the opposite direction of the rig. Over time I’ve managed to stop the animations from importing upside-down, however everything I’ve tried for getting them to face forward has failed.
I have tried changing it’s -z forward to z forward, applying transforms, including the bones that aren’t in use and setting it to default with rotations zeroed to default. Can’t find anything else to try.
I ended up adding a new bone for rotations into the armature so I can just delete its keyframes and redirect it in the animation editor.
edit: This worked for 5 minutes and then broke again after publishing it.
