Animation jittering/stopping when transitioning to another animation

To further explain the title, as seen in the video below:

When transitioning from the dash animation to the sprint animation there seems to be a weird pause in the middle of the transition. However, this only occurs if the player is walking beforehand. The issue doesn’t seem to happen when the player stops and is in that stop animation. My friend has also observed this issue happen to them as well as seen in the video below:

Is this another engine bug? Problems with how the animations are played or how the animations are made? If you have any solutions I’d love to hear them.
