Animation overriding idle and walk animations

Hi! I’m currently developing a game and this is my first time working with animations. What I’m doing is playing a swing animation whenever my pickaxe tool is activated, and it works fine however as the title says it overrides the default idle and walk animations. If you want a video of my problem let me know please :slight_smile:

Before you ask, yes I have researched on how to fix it. Nothing has worked so far and I have been searching for a good hour so help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Did you configured the animation priority? If not, maybe thats the issue!

"Higher priority animation will override lower priority ones per joint. The priority order is:

  1. Action4 (Highest Priority)
  2. Action3
  3. Action2
  4. Action
  5. Movement
  6. Idle
  7. Core (Lowest Priority)"

Yes. I put it to idle and it still overrides.

Hi, when making sword singing animations, DONT animate the legs, that way walking will work with swinging.
