Animations load in ROBLOX studio but not the actual game

In my game there is a script that changes the animations of the players character. It works in roblox studio, but not the actual game. I tried doing what this tutorial was doing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fS8Ly6SAok but this is where I encountered the problem. I then tried the scripts on the developer hub Using Animations | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub and i encountered the same problems. :thinking:

additional information: It was a group animation, i tried it on a different account, and it errored

edit: I forgot to put it under my group lol

You mentioned it was a group animation, is the place you are trying to run the animation on a group place? Group animations can only be played in places owned by the group

yes, it was trying to be played in the group place

Since it’s a group animation, it can only be played by the group. So might as well only create your animations for originality and ecstatic.

it is being played on a place the group owns.

Is somebody that is in the group made the animation? or someone outside of the group?

I figured it out, I uploaded it under my profile not my group :laughing: thanks for helping
