I’m working on a game that has been taking awhile. I need an animator to do some super simple animations. I’m looking to pay on a commission basis of $7 per animation (equivalent of 2k robux per animation). Previous prices were $3.50 per animation.
Please include some of your past work for references.
You will be paid for what you finish, so if you don’t finish anything, you will not be paid anything. If you finish one, you will be paid for one. The way I hope to see these animations is you doing them and once done, I’ll pay and you give me the animation.
I’m looking to buy all of these animations in R15:
ANIMATIONS (ONLY NEED THESE NOW)
Get Pumped (some sort of excitement animation)
Cartwheel - non loopable
Celebrate (different from cheer)
These animations are pretty simple and easy. None of these animations are meant to be complex crazy animations. I also used the price of reference from three professionals I know who charge 1k max per animation. This should be pretty decently priced for some simple animations that don’t require much effort. By the way the total price is 48-63 bucks if you do every animation so yeah.
Also I’ve done some animations that are fairly simple and they took me maybe 20 minutes per animation as a starter. I don’t have the time to do it now, though, which is why I’m looking to bring some people aboard. I already have someone interested who is in the process of doing some of the animations
I’m an animator but those prices are very little and are almost nothing in reality. Animation isn’t as easy as it sounds all the time and the ones you requested here aren’t “simple”. If someone did do all those and you paid 3.50 for all of them that would be 28 dollars.
That’s again, INCREDIBLY LOW for animations that aren’t as easy to animate as a walk cycle and especially low for ones that are mimicking movements with so much flux.
The total price now for doing all of these animations would be 70 dollars, which I feel is a more just price. Please feel free to let me know if these prices are a bit better. I recently had some other animations that were more simple than these animations, somebody already took them and I paid them $3.5 per animation. I wasn’t quite sure that these ones would be more complex, but now that I realize it, they are a bit more complex than I had anticipated. Sorry for the misunderstanding… I always want to make sure I am fairly compensating people for their work.
Just wanted to let everyone know that this position is still open. I’m not looking for transition animations either just the main animation so you don’t have to go crazy with it.
Joking aside, a good idea is search through the latest on the #RBXDev twitter hashtag, and see if you can find some fresssshhhhh talent. You’ll be paying R$70 per animations too, rather than $70 too lol
