Another GFX I just made

Last time I was told to fix the lighting and posing. And turns out a render in Cycles looks way better than it would in Eevee. I also learned how to use a rig and how to add 3D clothing. (Although the 3D clothing doesn’t show very well on the GFX)

I wasn’t sure how to go with the background because the light from the emission planes I used made a weird reflection on the floor and walls, so I decided to not focus on the background so much.

Overall, I think I improved a lot from the last GFX I made, but there’s still a lot to improve in this one. Any feedback is appreciated!

Try add a some city to the background. the bars might fit the light colour. Everything else is great.

I tried adding a building to the background, but I had to adjust the lighting a lot because it was reflecting on the floor. (Since I used emission planes)

The building also kind of looks weird because there is a roblox studio bug that is making anything (that has no texture) I export from roblox have no color.

It looks really great! I do suggest adding a hdri of a city on the background for more details though!

Looks ok. But not the best. Use reference poses as well as make him handle the gun better.

Since it just looks like the robloxian is holding onto the gun by the bottom tip and not how they normally would hold it at the trigger.

Yeah, I just figured out what hdris are and I’m trying to add one to the gfx.

There are websites like sketchfab that hold 3d models to get and a decent amount are free, roblox isn’t a good source for models anyways, Also you should learn how to model and texture so you can make assets yourself too

I added an HDRI but there is no shadow coming from the character on the pavement. Is there any way to fix that in blender or do I have to just edit in a shadow?

Yes there is an easy way to get shadows even using an HDRI!

Add in a plane and move it under the character you would like to have a shadow > Then select the plane and go to object properties > Open up the visibilty tab and click on “shadow catcher”. And there you go! Your character will have a shadow

Note: The shadow catcher option is only available in cycles render engine

For some reason I really like this. I’d suggest making the head a bit less tilted though.

It looks great, but try using the DepthOfField option in the camera settings for a nice background portrait effect

Looks good! But the one leg is a bit splitted from the torso!

That’s really good but I would make the background transparent or just add a picture in the back.

By the way, I forgot to post this, but here is the final image that I made using all your feedback.
