I’ve been researching for a week or so on how to develop a Roblox game and have learnt the Roblox Studio basics.
I haven’t been able to implement these new skills as I don’t have a game idea which would be entertaining and would keep the player hooked onto the game.
I’ve already tried to make a Tower Defense game and also an Obby which have both resulted in under 80 visits. Also there are way too many of these games so I don’t want to return to either of those.
I’ve already checked the forum for some ideas but they weren’t suitable for me.
Hello, you said you checked in the forum for ideas and you didn’t liked them, if I may ask what are your enjoyable ideas for your game.
Some ideas I can give you are, SCP genre, RPG, FPS, Horror , RNG games, Adventure, in others genres.
An original idea to make a game is hard, but you tried making a TD game and an obby, I recommend trying Horror or RPG, those genres are suitables and funny.
Well you can make a simple Police and thief roles is common or you can go a bit deep, and make an adventure game + RPG, for example, I’m making a Demon Slayer game, that includes PVP, PVE, RPG, and adventure.
If you want any idea for a RPG game, I could recommend Police and Thief for example, only 2 roles to choise, or 3 adding Civilian, 4 if you add FBI, etc.
Well yeah, RP its where you select a character or role to play with, you can make it at your choise, I gave you police and thief because is the most easy one to make.
Well if you want another RP type, I could recommend you Medieval or SCP, SCP is RP too, because you select the role of Prisioner, Guard, Elite Guard, Staff, etc.
You could aim for a rogue survival game where the setting is in a lab, or some similar area tailored by the setting to fit the idea. Let’s say for example, there’s been an outbreak and you out of let’s say 50 players, possibly less, have to survive and there’s and if you want, you can add a timer or have it work as a battle royale type of system where last man standing wins. The outbreak could be programmed with a multitude of AIs as enemies, an AI as a singular enemy that can infect other players to add them to the same team to infect more players, and/or a random chosen player and/or random chosen players as a team set out with the objective of infecting other players with the winning system being stated above. Feel free to add onto this, just spouting these ideas in case you’re interested.
