I’m not talking about my post, I’m talking about the post you linked. Read it again. There’s fine print to look at. At its core, Discord is not a logging service and is not meant to be used as one.
Yes it does. Policies can change easily within those two years.
That’s not my job to retrieve. I’m not the one using Discord to log or chancing punishment for doing so (keyword: chancing, before a reply comes in regarding this comment). That’s up to you and Discord to figure out. Your use of another platform and moderation concerns aren’t my business.
I read it. It’s not a logging service but using it as one as long as it’s under the rate limit is fine.
If it’s a message or so every minute, no big deal. If it’s logging /at/ the rate of the rate limit for an extended period of time, it’s considered abuse.
I know policies can change, an emphasis on the word “can”. It being two years ago doesn’t imply that IT was changed, which is why I’m asking for any updated information which makes you think that the policy was changed.
I know where you’re coming from. Discord is not a logging service, ok. But you’re incorrect in saying you will get banned for using as one. If you don’t bombard discord with requests, it’s fine which is my whole point.
