Any ideas on why the RobloxInstaller installs roblox studio, but not the MAIN roblox application?

Hey there, since the new Byfron’s Hyperion roblox update, I tried installing roblox but it stops at technically 80% or so, installs roblox studio, and shuts down.

What I have tried

  • Deleting the TEMP Folder
  • Deleting the Roblox/Versions folder at %localappdata% (since I did that both roblox studio and roblox don’t install anymore)
  • Technically deleting every Roblox folder name in my local machine

I don’t know if this is a major bug for everyone with Windows 11 since I have kept seeing posts about this bug but none of them were answered.

This could be a big problem for new roblox fellow users.

I can’t give any ideas on why but I’ve experienced this just today, the player just didn’t install at first in an update which got stuck at around 80% then I tried to reinstall. It didn’t work either.

This most definitely is in the wrong category but we can’t make bug reports

I have been hittng this issue also over the past 2 weeks, and read a bumch of posts , which the fixes do not seem to work.

I ended up deleting the entire roblox folder , clearimg browser cache, rebooting , reinstalled… and it worked…but now it is hosed agsin …
