Any tips on homestore design?

I’m trying to design a homestore, but don’t want it to be the standard copy and paste mannequins in rows. While still being able to fit a decent amount of mannequins.
I’m also trying to make it fairly low detailed so lower end devices can easily run it.

Your going to need to be more specific but if your looking for low detailed look into low-poly designs.

What I’m trying to avoid is this, rows of mannequins all lined up. This is prevalent in many homestore games.

I mean IDK how you can have a homestore without mannequins (since I presume what you want to sell is clothes). What you can try is having animated mannequins, so instead of them standing their dancing / moving or something.

Although I haven’t touched this area as much as I’d like to, I find that in order to make a homestore unique and appealing, you have to give it a theme, or in some cases, themes. Try categorizing the different types of clothing and seperate them into different sections of your building. For instance: seperate the more casual, summer fits into an envrionment such as a beach, or beach-themed room. I find that by doing that, you’d create a much more magical experience. Since homestores aren’t just boxes showcasing clothes, they need to say a story relating to the clothing you hope to showcase.

I believe that’d be a great idea if they had the option to turn on/off the animation, since you’d need to see the clothing you hope to buy in both idle postures and animations.
