Hello. Recently i got this error:
No it’s not lines of code, this just slapped in the output when i inserted a new baseplate.
I did not do warn() and do that, it’s real.
Does anyone else have this?
The same thing is happening to me right now. I believe it is Roblox trying to publish a new feature, the only thing we can do is wait, I don’t think it affect anything. It just shows up whenever you edit something.

It’s likely the new update they were talking about. (Immersive Advertising), around the same thing happened for voice chat, and there were weird error messages.
Hopefully this new update brings some source of revenue stream for developers who do use this new feature in their game. If they are going to add something like this, it should benefit the developers who do implement it.

The same has been happening to me - but way more incredibly annoying. Every time I select something, duplicate, or undo/redo: it prints that statement.

Closing and opening studio does not make the warning go away.

“immersive” will probably turn out to be more like “intrusive”
From what ive seen on twitter, the ads are just going to be “promoting” UGC and whatnot.

Hopefully, developers have full control over what their ads display, and can choose to have them or not.
But anyway, it isnt a bug, and it isnt malicious code.
This is unfortunately what roblox are doing.
Happens whenever you select something or whenever ChangeHistoryService:SetWaypoint is called.
I’m taking user-submitted content and adding it to my game, and I had some users sending things infected with malicious code so I’ve been searching through recently added maps for any funny scripts trying to find this warning - but nope! It’s just Studio : /
unfortunately? this is a huge step forward in monetizing Roblox games, no more will selling products or gamepasses be the only way of making lots of robux on the platform.
(and yes of course this is optional, developers can place these wherever they want)
I agree. Hopefully Roblox actually gives us a fair amount of Robux per impression and allows us to do optional reward based ads as well.
