Anything I should add/change to my cell?

I just finished my cell for an underground prison roleplay. I just feel like the cell is empty and I have no idea what needs to be changed and what I should add. Mind helping me what I can change or add to my cell? Thanks!

it doesnā€™t really look like a cell when the windows look like that, try putting a vent somewhere, camera, a table with books, chairs

The windows look like that because itā€™s a Bunker and I want to make it look like a cell. I can resize or remove them if you wish.

try putting those barricade type reinforcements on the windows, or even better a 1 way window which can be done with neon and glass material with specific transparencies

Would you mind giving me a reference image or something please so I can have an idea and Iā€™ll work on it?

Question, is it better if I build the bars outside the cell or inside? Or Both? I got the bars done, I just need to know which would fit better.

If your making a cell thatā€™s underground, I feel like you should make the windows out of bars rather then actual glass cells normally donā€™t feature windows in the font appearance they more have a small window in the back of the cell.

From your photo, I would remove the glass material on the windows in more and give them a metal appearance with bars. I would also throw stains and dirty parts just so it could look more like a cell that other people have been in. I can see itā€™s still in development so Iā€™m assuming thatā€™s why it looks not detailed, consider using reference images to get those important objects properly correct.

Anyway, itā€™s a decent build continue to improve it more further.

So youā€™re telling me I should remove the windows and replace it with bars?

Edit: Wait nevermind. I get what you mean. Alright, lemme change the material and throw in a texture to make it look like a cell someone used to be in, Thanks for the suggestion! :slightly_smiling_face:

Edit 2: When you mean a dirt stain, do you mean I should add it on the window or the bars? Iā€™m sorry, Iā€™m just confused.

Sorry for not explaining it more. You can throw stains around the cell depending on how itā€™s being used for different players, Iā€™m more talking about the cell bars if you search images of sorting cells around your area or even ones used a lot; youā€™ll notice the paint starts to get worn out showing the material underneath.

If you donā€™t want to add stains or rusted parts, you can just start out basic and overtime throw those useful items that are needed from your point of view. The cell doesnā€™t need to cover much objects since itā€™s a jail cell and not something that needs to be ā€˜very detailedā€™.

Im not sure if your going to use these ideas but you can do whatever what your jail cell needs

from my point of view I think this jail needs to be a bit more disgusting like add some green stains (I donā€™t know) maybe some green vines? or possibly some other type of stains that would make this jail cell look more natural. I actually donā€™t know what a jail cell would look like but I would imagine it would be dirty with insect flies everywhere and some kind of mold or stains on it like this cell has not been cleaned in a few months.

I hope this helps on your jail cell ideas and remember that you can use these ideas if you feel like it looks right.

Alright, I can try to make the cell detailed (not very detailed) Thanks for another suggestion!

I think your idea is very helpful. Even though someone beat you to that idea, your idea helps. I hope I can try to make my cell look dirty and overused. Thanks for the suggestion! :slightly_smiling_face:

  1. Make the Windows metal bars
  2. Make the beds bunk beds
  3. Add some graffiti to the wall
  4. Make the walls brick
  5. Make the door metal bars
  6. Do step 1,2,3,4,and 5 if you want.

For the brick texture, I know thereā€™s a texture pack in free models that has loads of textures widely used throughout ROBLOX.

Obviously itā€™s a free model, but the textures are widely used throughout ROBLOX and if anything theyā€™re more of an ā€˜open sourceā€™ model than a looked down upon, stolen free model. Iā€™ll put the link to a free texture pack below, mess around with those textures and find whatā€™s best.

Good luck!

Iā€™ve seen that pack before, one of my friends showed me that pack and recommended it to me but I never really used it. If it helps just like it helped her building career, then I might go ahead and use it. Thank you for recommending this to me! I hope it can help me finish this project! :slightly_smiling_face:

I donā€™t want to be mean but I wanna be honest but I donā€™t like those ideas (Iā€™m sorry :slightly_frowning_face:) The prison Iā€™m building is located in a Bunker and I feel like if I used a brick texture, it wouldnā€™t fit the ā€œFallout Vibeā€ because I was inspired by Fallout and Correctional Facilities to make a Bunker Prison or Vault Prison. The graffiti on the wall wouldnā€™t really look appropriate to me since Iā€™m not doing a gang/crew type of prison. The bars on the door and window, I made bars that are shielding the window if that counts but I donā€™t want to erase my door and make it into bars. Once again, Iā€™m sorry your ideas didnā€™t help. :slightly_frowning_face:
