Anyway to cut less on Poly?

Backstory: So I had a dev team, we broke up for a bit can’t find one as good as them.

So we were building an Aircraft Carrier [Gerald R. Ford] and a Destroyer [Arleigh Burke]. I make all of these ships out of unions. I find them easier to bend and shape then meshes, and they look much nicer. I was wondering if there is any way on cutting down on the Polycount.

3D model them instead. I know that might sound kind of rude, but 3D modeling is the only way you will have that kind of control. I have respect for those who use CSG to create complex shapes, but it just isn’t practical, and can be done much more quickly and efficiently with a modeling program.

Like with Blender, that will take me a while to understand it and that will take a while. I’m working solo and I have 6 orders to get done.
