I’m not sure when this was added but in studio if you click on a textbox that is editable it will allow you to change the text by just clicking on it. This is super frustrating because when I try to move a textbox it thinks I’m trying to click on it and just erases the text since I have it set to do that when a player in the actual game clicks on it. Pressing undo doesn’t just undo the text but also the last gui object I had changed/moved.
Does anyone know if there is a setting in studio to stop this from happening? This seems to be a recent update which is only making it more difficult to design guis with textboxes. I also want players in my game to be able to click the textbox and have the text there erased. I just don’t want it to do this while I’m trying to move the textbox in studio while designing my guis or moving an object over the textbox because it just automatically thinks I want to change the text in it.
Here’s a screenshot to hopefully clarify what I’m trying to say
