The rules and guidelines for AO: Containment
Rules
- No Offensive Language:
- Players should not use offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language in any form, including text chat or voice communication.
- No Random Killing (RK):
- Players are not allowed to engage in random killing of other players without a valid in-game reason. There should be a purpose or objective behind each action.
- No Team Killing (TK):
- Accidental team killing may occur, but its not allowed to do it on purpose. Players are encouraged to exercise caution and be aware of their teammates’ positions to avoid unintentional harm. Repeat offenders may face consequences.
- No Cheating or Hacking:
- The use of third-party cheats, hacks, or any form of unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Players caught using such tools will face penalties, including potential bans.
- Respect Game Moderators:
- Players must follow the instructions of Moderators. Disputes or concerns should be brought to there attention through appropriate channels, any moderator that you believe is using their authority unfairly report in the appropriate channels.
- No Exploiting Bugs or Glitches:
- Exploiting in-game bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for personal gain is not allowed. Players should report any such issues to the development team rather than exploiting them.
Guidelines
- Secure and Isolate:
- When encountering anomalies, prioritize securing the area and isolating the threat. Create containment zones to prevent anomalies from spreading and causing chaos.
- Specialized Containment Equipment:
- Utilize specialized equipment provided for anomaly containment. Different anomalies may require specific tools, so familiarize yourself with the gear available and use it effectively.
- Collaborative Research:
- Work together with other players to conduct research on anomalies. Share findings and observations to develop effective strategies for containment and understanding the nature of the anomalies.
- Follow Security Protocols:
- Adhere to security protocols based on the classification of anomalies. Understand the risks associated with different classes and follow the appropriate procedures to contain them safely.
- Investigate Anomalies:
- Explore the game world to discover new anomalies and anomalies that may have evaded initial detection. Investigate anomalies thoroughly to gather information that aids in containment.
- Adapt to Emergencies:
- Be prepared to adapt to emergency situations, such as sudden low level anomaly outbreaks or high containment outbreaks. Act quickly, coordinate with teammates, and follow emergency protocols to restore order.
- Report and Communicate:
- Maintain clear communication with other players and report anomalies or unusual activities promptly. Effective communication is crucial for successful containment and dealing with unexpected challenges.
