API for changing group Role

Hello DevForum!
Is there an API for a group to give a certain rank by playing a game?

Like if u join ur a member and if u have followed a tutorial your a player or something?
Otherwise, this would be a cool API to add to Roblox Studio.

Please help me out, I would really appreciate it.
