When receiving notifications like “Something went wrong”. It typically still uses the old roblox logo instead of the new one. This has been a issue for a while and i am surprised this hasn’t been fixed over the years

Correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure it is the old logo with the small hole.
Right here is a place they use it. The gradient probably doesn’t look well in UI like that. It’s better as a standalone logo. This also explains why the open menu button in the top left uses that too.
You wouldn’t know until a staff member sees, but I’m almost certain it is a design choice. All of the Roblox UI uses that icon (with some exceptions), not the new one.
The difference is the inside hole, one being small, which was the design from 2017 to 2022, and the other a bit bigger, which is the current design of the logo.
If you are not convinced with my words as well from the rest, you can also check their blog:
You are still wrong… They don’t have the same size hole if you are paying a lot of attention to the small details… Here is a comparison with the same width and height (147.62 x 147.59):
You might think this is a design choice, but it isn’t really… For example: If you were to go to the website on a mobile browser while logged out, you would notice that the white theme uses Roblox’s current “O”. If you were to see in the dark theme, it uses the old “O”. Overall, it is not a design choice rather than missing to update in some parts.
@ramdoys is right, we don’t know if this is intentional or not unless a staff member replies. this topic is honestly getting out of hand over a cheez-it hole size
edit: oof i got the old logo confused with the new one, but this is still kind of a stupid topic
