Aprea Airways - Core Values & General Information || Last Updated 02/01/2021
Hello Everyone, As some may know, I am a college student within the business and advertising sector. As a new personal project, I will be re-opening Aprea Airways on the ROBLOX Platform. Not only will I try and use as much technology as possible, but everything will be set up in a way to give a realistic experience. With this said, there are a few major topics that need to be covered. All of them are listed below;
Staffing:
As most other groups, Aprea will consist of 4 levels of staffing, all which will be held to a high standard, and staff code-of-conduct;
-
LR Staff Members;
→ These members are automatically added via an in-game system. This system is currently being developed and tested.
→ Within the staff assignment system (Used at the beginning of flights), these staff members are the lowest priority, and are limited to customer service roles within Landside operations. -
MR Staff Members;
→ Completed after applying through the application center, and/or training - LR Members are welcome to join
→ Fully trained staff allowing for roles such as Cabin Crew, Airside Operations, and First Officer. (First officer requires more extensive training) -
HR Staff Members;
→ HR Staff Members REQUIRE an application in a majority of circumstances and extensive training
→ Pilot Rank and above
→ All HR Staff Members are allowed to host flights, operate in-game admin tools (For Kicking/Banning), Server Locking, and more
→ Representatives and above are allowed to host training for all lower staff -
Executives;
→ Executive rank and above
→ Application ONLY and interview with COO and/or CEO
→ Responsible for managing of group, and discord server
→ Full ability to kick/ban members if rule breaking on Discord/Roblox game/Roblox group
→ Same abilities as HR Staff Members
Extra Notes about staffing:
-All confirmed staff (MR And Above) will receive a pay depending on number of flights attended.
-Staff code-of-conduct (coming soon) applies to all ranks and must be followed, risk of termination, and/or kick/ban
-All staff complaints will be taken seriously - Staff to Staff or Passenger to Staff
Technology:
As stated above, we will be including a large amount of technology to improve ‘realism’ within the group and games. Not only will we be partnering with external companies to bring their technology in, but also we will be hiring developers. These include game developers, coders, graphic artists, and video/marketing teams. All will get a external pay via group funds, or another external method. With the high amount of technology to be in our games and groups, we understand the possibility of failure. This is why HR staff members will be trained on to handle situations in where these do not work as functioned, and the ability to continue the flight unless deemed the situation created cannot be fixed, or the safety of passengers is at stake.
Code-of-conduct:
The more I understand about successful businesses, the more I understand about communication within the company, and how important that is. This is exactly why I will be personally creating a staff code-of-conduct or ‘handbook’ to explain the major policies and procedures. Not only does this give a stronger description of rules and regulations for staff to follow, but it also creates a singular brand that customers will grow to love. The RobloxDev Forum that contains the staff Code Of Conduct will be regularly updated. Announcements within discord staff channels will let all staff know when updates are made, as well as the changes to the document(s).
Tickets: While at one point the discussion of pay-per-flight was raised, our current decision is set as a one-time purchase. This not only makes technological issues less frequent, but also sets up a better passenger experience. This ticketing system is subject to change, and evolve as Aprea does.
In-Game Purchases: Purchases in-game will be available for premium items located within the airport. Game passes will also include upgraded perks for those passengers who wish to upgrade their experience. These are to be further discussed, and subject to availability.
Flights: All flights will be created and hosted by a HR Staff Member. Not only do we encourage frequent flights, but minimum requirements must be met by HR Staff to remain within their position. More information will be listed within the Staff code-of-conduct.
Pay: All MR staff and above are eligible for a pay through group funds. The amount of pay is dependent on flights attended and actively participated in as staff, and full attendance. This information will be logged by the flight’s host, and then sent to the executive team. Group payouts are expected to be every month, if not 2 weeks. Full confirmed pay details will be located within the staff Code-of-conduct.
Expectations: With a majority of major topics listed above, we finally get to expectations. Now more than anytime, we need to create a community to stand together. With most places within a lock-down stage, Aprea will try and create a atmosphere of positive community while at the same time creating events, and things to do that we all look forward to. Our new HR staff, passengers, and crew look forward to growing, and becoming a true ROAviation community that supports ROBLOX, and our own family as a whole.
